Oregon is home to many classic diners. One of the best and most nostalgic is Portland’s Cadillac Cafe. This beloved 1950s-themed neighborhood eatery in Northeast Portland’s Lloyd District has been drawing crowds for over three decades. And after a single visit, it’s easy to see why. Serving breakfast and lunch seven days a week, you’ll find crowd favorites here that not only satisfy your every craving, but also a vibe that takes you back to a simpler time.
As you step inside Cadillac Cafe, you’ll be met with a welcoming atmosphere, friendly service, and delicious eats. You will find this restaurant at 1801 NE Broadway, and don’t be surprised if it becomes one of your favorite places to eat in Portland—it really is that good.
We are big fans of Cadillac Cafe’s breakfast items, and you’ll find everything on the menu from steak and eggs to shrimp and grits, breakfast burritos, and more. Vegetarian options are available, and you can choose from a list of side items to create the perfect meal.
If you want something sweet, we recommend the French custard toast, and if savory is more your style, the omelets are pure perfection. Come hungry because the dishes are large—there’s no better way to start your day.
While breakfast is served all day at Cadillac Cafe, lunch begins at 11 a.m. Monday through Friday, and at noon on Saturday and Sunday. The lunch menu isn’t as extensive as the breakfast menu, but you’ll still find plenty to fill you up. The menu includes a range of soups, salads, and sandwiches like burgers, French dips, and Monte Cristos. Cadillac Cafe also offers an excellent selection of beverages, including coffee, Bloody Marys, wine, cocktails, smoothies, and shakes.
