PORTLAND, Oregon — A person has died after they were struck by a vehicle while walking across Interstate 5 in Portland.
The crash happened shortly after 4 a.m. on the I-5 northbound ramp to Interstate 84 east, just north of the Southeast Water Avenue Exit, police confirmed. The ramp was closed for several hours, but reopened shortly before 8:45 a.m.
Paramedics took the person, whose identity hasn’t been released, to the hospital, where that person later died…
