Gunfire broke out near Southeast 131st Avenue and Division Street on Monday evening, sending one person to the hospital and prompting Portland police to lock down the intersection. Officers arrived around 6:35 p.m., finding shell casings and evidence suggesting the shooting involved a vehicle.
The injured individual was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Detectives continued investigating the scene, and no arrests have been reported, according to KATU.
