WASHINGTON COUNTY, Oregon — Authorities are investigating a house fire that displaced five residents in unincorporated Washington County Saturday.
At 12:38 p.m., multiple 911 callers reported black smoke and flames coming from the 21900 block of Southwest Hillsboro Highway. When the first Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue crews saw a column of dark smoke, they upgraded the blaze to summon additional resources.
At the scene, a four-story log house was fully engulfed in flames, threatening trees, an RV and other buildings, then upgraded the fire to a two-alarm for even more resources…
