East Portland shooting leads to gun seizures

A pair of men from Beaverton were arrested earlier this month after gunfire sounded in an East Portland parking lot.

At 7:53 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 15, Portland Police officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 15700 block of Northeast Glisan Street. Upon arrival they found evidence of gunfire in the parking lot — 32 spent casings in two different calibers. During the investigation they learned two suspects had fired guns into the air and ground before entering a nearby smoke shop.

Officers surrounded the building and contacted the suspects, who surrendered and were arrested. One of the men taken into custody owned the smoke shop…
