City of Vancouver creates $300K business grant program for ‘Fourth Plain Corridor’

VANCOUVER, WASH. (KATU) — The City of Vancouver approved a new initiative to support small businesses struggling along the “Fourth Plain Corridor” on Fourth Plain Boulevard.

Earlier this week, the City Council approved $300,000 in grants for businesses that have experienced a decline in revenue and reduced customer spending. Several business owners told KATU that increased immigration enforcement has contributed to the downturn.
