Two suspects linked to WinCo parking lot pickpocket thefts of debit cards pleaded guilty to bank fraud in separate court hearings.
Lucian Sulitanu and Rexona Caldararu, identified as Romanian citizens, each pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court in Portland to three charges: aggravated identity theft, bank fraud, and conspiracy to commit bank fraud.
Sulitanu pleaded guilty Friday, Feb. 27, and has a sentencing date of May 22, while Caldararu pleaded guilty Jan. 22 and will be sentenced April 24. Sulitanu and Caldararu have been ordered to remain in detention pending their sentencing hearings…
