This TriMet bus route in North Portland will be gone, starting March 1

PORTLAND, Ore. — A North Portland bus line will be discontinued Sunday as part of planned cuts as TriMet works to close budget gap.

According to the agency, starting March 1, there will be no more service on North Kerby Avenue and North Russell Street.

The old route traveled from the Fremont Bridge to Kerby, then turned east at Russell. It then formed a loop on Vancouver and Williams past Russell, Knott, Graham, Stanchion, Morris, Monroe, Fargo, Cook, and Ivy before turning at North Fremont Street…
