The crumbling Beaumont castle, a century-old English Tudor style residence with a three-story turret in Northeast Portland, sparked widespread interest when it was put on the market Nov. 25.
“My phone rang every five minutes for the first couple of weeks,” said listing broker Cee Webster of Neighbors Realty. “People as far away as New Zealand are obsessed with the fairytale fixer, and the idea of restoring the ‘Sleeping Beauty of Beaumont’ captured their imagination.”
