PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — An asbestos exposure at a Trader Joe’s location in Portland forced the store to close on Wednesday evening, the Department of Environmental Quality announced.
The exposure took place at the Trader Joe’s 4715 SE Cesar E. Chavez Blvd. The store closed at 5 p.m. and will remain closed until the asbestos is fully decontaminated.
