Man who shot and killed his twin brother at Portland motel sentenced to prison

PORTLAND, Ore. — A man who shot and killed his twin brother during an argument in September 2022 was sentenced to more than a decade in prison Friday, according to the Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office.

Martre Oliver, 29, was sentenced to 150 months after being found guilty of first-degree manslaughter, unlawful use of a weapon, and being a felon in possession of a firearm. A jury acquitted him of a second-degree murder charge.
