Man gets 30 years in prison for stabbing homeless men in Gresham, killing one

GRESHAM, Ore. (KATU) — A 22-year-old pleaded guilty to several charges for stabbing two men – killing one of them – in Gresham more than two years ago.

Antony Kassab appeared in court on Tuesday, and was sentenced to 30 years in prison.

Investigators say Kassab killed Cody Funk in December of 2023, and seriously injured David McQuown in a stabbing in January of 2024. Both Funk and McQuown were experiencing homelessness at the time…
