Gresham man sentenced to 30 years for stabbing stranger to death

GRESHAM, Ore. — A Gresham man was sentenced Tuesday to 30 years in prison for the stabbing death of a homeless man at a Southeast Division Street bus stop in December 2023.

Prosecutors said Antony Kassab approached Cody Funk, a complete stranger, at a bus stop on Southeast Division Street in the middle of the night and stabbed him multiple times.
