PORTLAND, Ore. — Court documents filed Tuesday revealed more about the alleged murder of a Plaid Pantry clerk in Northeast Portland on Friday night, including statements made by the suspected killer to law enforcement after he turned himself in this week.
Michale J. Paine, 21, surrendered Monday, just hours after Portland police began circulating surveillance images of the suspected killer in hopes of identifying him.
