For the past two Saturdays, I’ve wandered around the crowds in Waterfront Park, first for the cherry blossoms and then for the March 28 No Kings demonstration, (“30,000 Portland marchers join ‘No Kings’ rally amid nationwide protests,” March 28).
For the blossoms, all sorts of people came out, representing many races. But the No Kings demonstration seemed almost strictly a white folks affair…
