Storybook Hollow Park marks a new chapter for Ridgefield’s open spaces

Families and community members gathered on Tuesday, March 31 as the City of Ridgefield officially opened Storybook Hollow Park, where children can climb, explore and slide into a new space connecting nature and play.

Located at 4000 N. 13th St. in the Paradise Pointe neighborhood, the park marks the first phase of a planned 15-acre development designed to blend play with the area’s natural environment. The park is open daily from 8 a.m. to dusk.

The initial phase includes two playgrounds tailored for different age groups, a picnic shelter, a hill slide, accessible pathways and connecting trails. One playground features a main structure for children ages five to twelve, while a second area is designed for younger children ages two to five.
