Our unusually warm and dry weather ends this evening with a bit of a bang. A weak weather system tracks north through Oregon, setting off scattered thunderstorms late this afternoon through this evening. Usually, these storms stay over and east of the Cascades, but there will be a window of time (5pm-9pm) where those storms could drift out over the western valleys. That includes the entire I-5 corridor from Longview to Eugene. So, keep an eye to the sky and our weather app through this evening.
THIS EVENING
Scattered showers developing. Some may include heavy rain or thunder. Slight hail chance too. Some areas get downpours and thunder, others do not. Thunder chance ends later this evening, but showers continue overnight.
