Suspect indicted in fatal shooting in Northwest Portland

PORTLAND, Ore. — A grand jury has indicted a man on multiple charges in the fatal shooting of a man in Northwest Portland in September.

According to the Portland Police Bureau, detectives identified the suspect, 20-year-old Damaree A. Baxter after the deadly shooting of 22-year-old Shiloh Thanos-Young of Portland. Baxter, also from Portland, is currently in the Multnomah County Inverness Jail after being booked on April 10 for robbery and other charges unrelated to the homicide.
