CHESAPEAKE, Va., (WAVY) — One person was injured and taken to the hospital after an accident at the intersection of Battlefield Boulevard South and Johnstown Road on May 28.
A vehicle traveling northbound on Battlefield Boulevard South ran a red light, according to Chesapeake police. It then hit a vehicle traveling through the intersection, causing the struck vehicle to overturn on its side, Police Officer Leo Kosinski said in a statement.
