CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) – The city of Chesapeake is under another heat advisory with the heat index projected to climb as high as 108 degrees on June 12.
City officials advise residents to stay hydrated and stay cool indoors whenever possible. If you must go outside, they suggest wearing light colors, applying sunscreen and running errands in the early morning or late evening hours.
