VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) – A brief motions hearing was held Thursday morning in a Virginia Beach courtroom for Eric Baptiste, one of three former sheriff’s deputies charged in connection with the in-custody death of Rolin Hill.
The defense moved to obtain Hill’s prior medical records and the judge granted that motion over the prosecution’s objection.
