VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) – Those wanting to learn more about the Pungo Ferry Road improvements can attend a public hearing Thursday, June 18 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Creeds Elementary School.
The City of Virginia Beach Public Works Department is planning on raising Pungo Ferry Road from Blackwater Road to the west side of the Pungo Ferry Bridge to reduce recurring flooding and sea level rise effects.
