Samaritan House stocks the shelves for domestic violence survivors

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Survivors of domestic violence now have more resources available to help them transition into better situations after Samaritan House efforts through their Stock the Shelves initiative.

The campaign is a cooperative effort with the Samaritan House and the Hampton Roads chapter of the Virginia Apartment Management Association (VAMA). They have been collecting donations during the past month with more than 50 local apartment complexes to provide essential items to Samaritan House that will directly help people who are trying to break the cycle of violent relationships…
