VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — The Virginia Beach Police Department is currently on the scene of an officer-involved shooting on Shore Drive.
Police confirmed they were called to the scene around 1:15 p.m. No officers were injured, and there is no active threat to the public, they said.
10 On Your Side’s Markeshia Jackson is at the scene working to learn more information. She says there is police activity outside the Delta Hotel, including on the beach, as police have taped off a section of the beach. There is also a police boat in the water.
