PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — A man was injured following a shooting Thursday evening on Elliott Avenue, according to Portsmouth Police.
Officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 3400 block of Elliott Avenue at approximately 5:09 p.m.
When officers arrived, they discovered a man with a gunshot wound. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment. The extent of his injuries is unknown.
