VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — One man was seriously hurt, and a dog died following a residential structure fire early Friday morning on Garden Drive, according to the Virginia Beach Fire Department.
Crews were dispatched to a report of a residential structure fire in the 1700 block of Garden Drive at approximately 1:40 a.m.
Upon arrival, crews observed heavy smoke from the single-story residential structure. They quickly had water on the fire at 1:47 a.m., marked it under control at 1:57 a.m. and marked it out at 2:41 a.m…
