CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — An armed man was taken into custody in connection with striking a woman in the face Tuesday evening on Battlefield Boulevard South, according to Chesapeake Police.
Officers responded to a reported assault in the 200 block of Battlefield Boulevard South at approximately 4:45 p.m. Police determined a woman had been struck in the face by a man after an encounter outside a business.
