NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – A man faces charges after being accused of vandalizing a nonprofit in Norfolk.
Volunteers with Changing Lives 365 were preparing to host a ribbon-cutting ceremony Saturday in the Huntersville area of the city. Hours prior to the ceremony, volunteers found the outdoor space was vandalized and that items has been stolen.

As a result police, charged 65-year-old Willie L. Whitaker Jr. in connection to this incident. He is charged with grand larceny and destruction of property.
