VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — For the next five years, large scale construction will again return to the area just east of Mount Trashmore, as the city moves forward on a $127 million pump station where Thalia Creek meets Lake Windsor.
Wednesday, leaders from the city’s public works and engineering staff joined with Arcadis and Flatiron-Dragados to ceremoniously turn dirt for the project that, if successful, will help prevent flooding in the Windsor Woods, Princess Anne Plaza and The Lakes communities.
