Second arrest made in 2025 Waco homicide case

WACO, Texas (FOX 44) – The Waco Police Department has made a second arrest in connection with a 2025 homicide case.

The department announced on Thursday morning that 20-year-old Kevien Daniels was arrested in Norfolk, Virginia, and has been charged with Murder. Daniels was then extradited to the McLennan County Jail on Wednesday. This is the second arrest in the homicide investigation of 30-year-old Jeromy Munoz.

Police previously reported on May 22, 2025, that 18-year-old Jarvis Dominique Howard, Jr. was arrested in Waco and charged with Murder in this case. The department identified Munoz as the victim on May 16, 2025.

Police originally announced that officers were called to a shooting in the 1300 block of E. Waco Drive at approximately 7:17 p.m. on May 15, 2025. When they arrived they found Munoz, who was pronounced dead on scene. AMR also transported a 24-year-old man to the hospital, who was reported to be in stable condition…
