CHESAPEAKE, Va. — The Virginia Department of Health says a man was attempting to feed a feral cat behind Cypress Landing Apartments on Oct. 14 when the cat caused injuries to his hands and face.
Testing later confirmed the cat was positive for rabies. The man is currently receiving medical treatment.
