Hampton police searching for suspect in connection with a robbery at 7-Eleven

HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) – The Hampton Police Division is asking for the public’s help in locating a suspect in connection with a robbery at a 7-Eleven early Thursday morning.

According to officials, at approximately 1:34 a.m., Public Safety Communications were notified of a robbery at a 7-Eleven in the 3700 block of Kecoughtan Road. Police say that the suspect entered the business, displayed a firearm and then demanded money.

The suspect fled towards LaSalle Avenue after receiving an undisclosed amount of money from the business, police say.

The suspect is described as a Black male between the ages of 25 to 35. He is between five foot nine and six feet tall and was last seen wearing a black-hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled up, black pants, black shoes and a black ski mask.
