A trucker convoy of protestors headed to the U.S.-Mexico border are reportedly calling themselves the “Army of God.”

The self-proclaimed “patriots,” who organized the “Take Our Border Back” convoy say they are on a mission to stand up to “globalists” seeking to keep the U.S.-Mexico border open.

“This is a biblical, monumental moment that’s been put together by God,” one convoy organizer said on a recent planning call, reported by Vice . Another said, “We are besieged on all sides by dark forces of evil. “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the sons of God. It is time for the remnant to rise.”

The group calls on all “all active & retired law enforcement and military, veterans, mama bears, elected officials, business owners, ranchers, truckers, bikers, media and LAW ABIDING, freedom-loving Americans,” to join their cause.
