VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — The Virginia Beach Fire Department responded to a house fire early Sunday morning.
It happened at a home on the 800 block of Maryland Avenue in the Shadowlawn Heights neighborhood just before 8 a.m.
When crews arrived on the scene, they quickly extinguished a small fire in a bedroom.
Very little damage was done to the home, and no one was hurt.
Officials said an electrical issue caused the fire.
