UPDATE: Virginia State Police reported at 1:42 p.m. on Sunday that the suspect is in custody and the baby has been found safe.
NORFOLK, Va. (WRIC) — Virginia State Police issued an Amber Alert for a 7-month-old baby who was abducted in Norfolk.
According to state police, Delysia Solei-Promise Jones was abducted at 7:30 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 11. She was last seen on Washington Avenue.
Virginia State Police identified 35-year-old Delsean Marquee Mickle as her potential abductor.
As of 1:34 p.m. on Sunday, Virginia State Police reported that Mickle had been taken into custody but Delysia had not been located. Less than ten minutes later, the department then reported Delysia had been found safe.
