PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — Portsmouth police are investigating a shooting.
On Wednesday, Feb. 14 just before noon, dispatch received a call about a gunshot on the 400 block of Effingham Street.
When officers arrived on the scene, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim was taken to a local hospital to be treated for his injuries.
