VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – A fire in the Kempsville area of Virginia Beach caused damage to a house Friday afternoon, officials said. The fire happened in the 5400 block of Gale Drive, which is near Providence Road and Kempsville Road. The Virginia Beach Fire Department (VBFD) said it responded around 3:30 p.m. and got there a few minutes later.
