HAMPTON, Va. – Swimmers are urged to stay out of the water at Buckroe Beach Middle in Hampton after discovering toxic bacteria in the area. The Virginia Department of Health (VDH) issued a swimming advisory on Wednesday, August 7, saying bacteria levels were above the state water quality standards.
