PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — Two Portsmouth Police Officers were hit by a vehicle early Sunday morning.
It happened just after 2 a.m. on the 4040 block of Missy Elliott Boulevard. Both officers were hurt and one of the officers was rushed to a local hospital.
The driver of the vehicle fled the scene, but police later stopped the driver on the interstate.
Police are still investigating the incident and no addition details are available at this time.
