PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — Portsmouth police are investigating a Sunday afternoon shooting.
Around 1:30 p.m. Sunday, police responded to a call on the 1100 block of Virginia Avenue.
When officers arrived on the scene, they found a boy suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
