CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) – One person is seriously injured after an auto-pedestrian crash on Greenbrier Parkway Thursday night, police said.
According to officials, officers were dispatched to the intersection of Greenbrier Parkway and Woodlake Drive just before 8:30 p.m. for reports of a vehicle accident involving a pedestrian.
Officers arrived to the scene and found an adult male who was struck by a vehicle in the roadway. He was transferred to a local hospital with possible life-threatening injuries, police said.
The driver of the vehicle remained on the scene and was considered to not be impaired.
The incident remains under investigation, and no charges have been filed at this time.
