The Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore has launched a new monthly mobile pantry at the Portsmouth Sportsplex at 1801 Portsmouth Blvd.
Distributions will take place on the third Wednesday of the month from 9:30 to 11 a.m.
The mobile pantry will serve 250 households in need, bringing fresh groceries directly to underserved communities and food deserts.
Volunteers will assist with bagging groceries, unloading Foodbank trucks, and distributing food through a drive-thru model.
