VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) – A hiring and networking event for transitioning servicemembers, veterans and military spouses is set to take place in Virginia Beach on Thursday.
The Hire Vets Now event, co-hosted by the Naval Air Station Oceana Fleet & Family Support Center, Virginia Chamber Foundation and Virginia Department of Veterans Services, will take place at the NAS Oceana Officers’ Club in Building 480 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Attendees will be able to connect with various Virginia employers, including CISA, Dominion Energy, Dynamic Aviation, HII, Kay and Associates, INC., MI Technical Solutions, Sentara, Sonic Systems and Southwest.
The event is free and open to all transitioning service members, veterans and military spouses with base access. Walk-ins are welcome. To register in advance, click the link here .
