PORTSMOUTH — Police are investigating after a woman was found dead and a juvenile was injured in what police described as an attempted murder-suicide.
Shortly after 1 p.m. Wednesday, police responded to a call at Paradise Creek Nature Park, according to a press release. Officers found a woman who was died and a juvenile male who had been injured. He was taken to a local hospital, wherehe was treated then released. Police did not say how the woman died or how the juvenile was injured
The Portsmouth Police Major Crimes unit is investigating, and at this time, charges are not expected for the juvenile, according to police. They declined to identify either person involved and did not release any other details.
