Mercy Chefs to deploy to Asheville, NC to assist families impacted by Helene

PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) – The Portsmouth-based humanitarian relief organization Mercy Chefs announced they will be deploying to North Carolina.

According to a Facebook post , crews will be deploying to Asheville, an area experiencing “the most significant disaster to have ever hit their city.”

In addition to assisting communities in North Carolina, Mercy Chefs said it will also continue their operations along the Florida Gulf Coast.
