HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) – The Hampton Police Division (HPD) is seeking the public’s assistance in locating the suspect involved in a fatal shooting Sunday night.
According to officials, just after 10:15 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 1st block of Bentley Drive for reports of an unconscious person.
Officers arrived to the scene and found 31-year-old Heaven-Lee Reed inside her home with a gunshot wound. Reed was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident remains under investigation, and no additional information has been released.
