CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) – A man was seriously hurt after a shooting on Coveside Lane Sunday night, according to police.
Officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of Coveside Lane around 10:40 p.m. for reports of a shooting. When officers arrived on scene, they found a man suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound.
Police said the victim was transferred to a local hospital for treatment.
A WAVY 10 viewer sent an image of the scene, showing officers using flashlights to search the area.
The incident remains under investigation. No additional information has been released.
