1 person and pets displaced after Norfolk house fire

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A person and their pets were displaced by a house fire in Norfolk.

Just before 11 a.m. Sunday, Norfolk Fire-Rescue responded to an attic fire at 4711 Krick St. Crews aggressively attacked the flames and brought the fire under control within 18 minutes.

No one was hurt in the fire, but the Red Cross is assisting the displaced resident and the pets.

An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the fire.
