UPDATE: Dytavious Ellis has returned home according to Chesapeake police.
CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — Virginia State police have cancelled the CODI alert for a teen who went missing late Saturday night.
According to Chesapeake police, Dytavious Kymonti Ellis has returned home.
Police said 16-year-old Ellis went missing after he was last seen on the 3400 block of Miars Farm Circle on Friday around 3 p.m.
The CODI alert was issued because police were concerned that Ellis’ disappearance may have posed a credible threat to his health and safety.
