PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) – Portsmouth Police are investigating a shooting after a man walked into the hospital with a gunshot wound Monday night.
According to officials, around 7:20 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of Frederick Boulevard for reports of a shooting.
After arriving to the scene, officers were notified the victim in the shooting had walked in to a local hospital to be treated for his injuries.
Photos from the scene show the road blocked off nearby the Rally’s while officers search the area.
Police did not say what condition the victim was in.
